Letter from the Mayor

Doug Peterson, Mayor

Dear Citizens of Coyote Flats,

I hope your holidays were restful and that you’re looking forward to another great year. The City of Coyote Flats has been working on a set of ordinances for the past couple of years, and we are close to adopting them. While these ordinances may not be perfect, they can be adjusted as we move forward. We encourage you to visit www.coyoteflatstx.gov to review them and email us with your feedback and/or

suggestions. While on the website, please register your name, address, phone number, and email address to receive important alerts and notifications from the city.

As many of you know, CR 414 was recently refinished. This project was completed by the county using federal funding—thank you to Larry Wooley. We are also working toward getting CR 415 completed as well.

Things are going well in our small city, and we are committed to keeping it that way. We invite you to attend council meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM, at the Precinct 4 Maintenance Facility on Highway 4.

As you know, we do not require residents to pay taxes, so we request that each household donate $100 each year to help with city expenses. Donations can be made on the city website, or checks can be mailed to the City of Coyote Flats - P.O. Box 664, Cleburne, TX 76033.

Please feel free to call or text me at (817) 846-9502 if you have any questions or

concerns.

Sincerely,

Mayor

Doug Peterson
